Youcanic

My team and I were asked to analyze the website’s architecture of the content and recommend changes based on card sorting results. We also gave recommendations for accessibility and conducted a search analysis to increase the site’s search engine optimization.

How: We created a content inventory of all of the content on the website, created and conducted a card sort study to understand the best way to organize the content, created personas and scenarios to convey the user’s needs and experience to the client and gave SEO recommendations based on search analysis.

What we learned: we should consider users as people with needs and goals that should be fulfilled, how to conduct a card sorting study, how to analyze a website’s content, how to create personas and scenarios
